Why do men think that their opinions matter when it comes to a womans choice

I don't know how many times I have to stress the slogan My body My choice to men. Why do they always think they have the power to tell you what decisions you should make when it comes to your reproductive choice. y'all really need to stop Hyde, Stupak, all of y'all. My choice should only be left in my hands because if anything happens the responsibility will be in my hands.

it really takes some guts to not leave your name and you feel like you are making your voice heard behind a curtain...or from the basement computer...

i commend all women that exercise choice whether to terminate or carry a pregnancy to term. men govern the bodies they live and women should be able to. further, to imply that your mother only slept with your father implies that you are 100% positive of that fact....but more importantly you are implying that women that get pregnant and choose to not mother, they are sleeping with many men? get your facts straight....

Well Mr. Anonymous, when I implied Mommas babies,Daddy's maybe I was refering to the fact that the dad may or may not be in that childs life and thats how it is. I have a daughter that me and her father chose to have. He was the siked one about the decision and claimed that he was responsible enough to take care of this life that was being brought into this world and he would do everything that was needed for her. Well that was a big maybe because my daughters father hasn't seen her in a year and a half. he doesn't call her.Doesn't send her anything and I had to put him on child support. Do you honestly think that if I knew it was gonna be this way I would have chose the decision I made. No I wouldn't have because now I am left to deal with the repercussions of him not being responsible and it all fell on me and regaurdless if a woman has twenty sex partners or one it should not justify someone treating her like shit or her not having a choice in the matter of her reproductive health.Men sleep around all the time the only difference is they can't get pregnant they don't have to go thru the physical, emotional and mental process of having a child and they have the option to just change their mind and walk out of that situation at any time. Yes there is child support enforcement but that only takes care of the small part of financial support of the child. But it doesn't take care of a childs mental, physical and emotional needs. It doesn't take the place of the male role model being there. The fact that you veiw things the way you do just makes my skin crawl and excuse my language but is really fucked up.But at the end of the day your entitled to your opinions and I am entitled to mine.
