CITIZEN RUTH

I just watched a movie titled Citizen Ruth and it was quite interesting. It was about a drug addicted pregnant woman who was charged with the crime of endangering her fetus. She wanted to get an abortion. The movie stereotyped both anti-choice and pro-choice advocates. It was a bit exaggerated but it did paint a portrait of both sides that really makes me think about the work that I do and why it's very important. In the movie, Ruth states that it's her body and her choice to do whatever she wants to do with it and I couldn't agree more!!
