Let Your Voice Be Heard! Get out and vote!!!

Okay everyone, as you all may or may not know, the midterm election is November 2, 2010. Are you tired of things not going well in your state, maybe your own community? Are bills that you feel should have been passed a long time ago still not in effect? Well, you can do something about it. Get out and vote!!! I can't stress the issue enough. You may not think it matters, but EVERY vote counts. Don't just wait until the presidential election. The midterm is just as important. October 5th was the last day to register to vote. Hopefully, you're registered. Don't know if you're a registered voter already?? No problem, check www.elections.il.gov (For residents in the state of Illinois) and check your status. On this website, you'll be able to find out if you're a registered voter and also give you your polling place. Don't worry if you're not a registered voter and if you've missed voter registration. There's still something you can do. Do some research. Find the candidates that support the causes you're fighting for. Support the candidates that you want to see as your next elected officials. I am pro-choice and I refuse to let my voice be silenced. I am going to vote, and you should too. Let your voice be heard.

arthia...i am absolutely fascinated at how people cannot participate in this process but complain about anything. if you don't vote, you leave the decisions up to others...and the only role you have played in that is apathy!
